• Machine wash cool, gentle with like colors then lay flat, line dry, or tumble-dry on low heat to avoid shrinkage.
• Do not use bleach, oxi-clean, spot sprays, or products with enzymes.
• Use gentle, earth-friendly detergents.
• Take care not to wash with garments with zippers, velcro or towels with texture to avoid abrasion and pilling.

Hemp is an extremely durable natural fiber that benefits from nature's complex properties, especially when kept in its original, long fiber form. Fabric made from hemp produces a breathable, biodegradable, and mold and mildew resistant material. The rigid hemp fibers hold their structure through the stress of daily use and washing, resulting in a raw texture in the beginning which softens over time, maintaining its strength and integrity.

Hemp fibers are porous, allowing air to be trapped inside for warmth when chilly, and refreshment when hot. The material absorbs and releases moisture quickly, helping to draw excess moisture away from the skin.

The cultivation of the industrial hemp plant is also good for regenerating and enriching soil. Deep roots retain moisture in the earth, requiring less water to grow. The natural strength of the plant reduces the temptation for industrial hemp farmers to use pesticides or herbicides in industrial hemp farming.

Hemp feels good. Our socks are not made of a fiber blend. As hemp does not have any natural stretch, the fibers are wrapped around a stretch base, meaning the sock is stitched out of 100% hemp fiber, wrapped around a base of elastane. This results in a final proportion of 91% hemp, 9% elastane.
